24. PENANGGALAN Undead, Vampire, Nightmare
An Indonesian version of the vampire, this monster appears to be a normal human by day, but at night the head and entrails detach from the body and fly through the air seeking victims. The figure would depict a woman's howling head, with fangs and wild hair, mounted on a flying post, with lurid organs and intestines hanging from the neck, dangling the length of the post.
