17. JIANG SHI Undead, Vampire
This is a classic Hong Kong movie-style "hopping vampire", a monster type that has become iconic in Asian cinema. Chinese vampires have some zombie-like traits: like zombies, they look like decomposing corpses, and they are slow-moving and stiff (hence the hopping); however, they are true vampires in that they feed on the life-essence of the living. In HorrorClix, I would represent the Jiang Shi's hopping movement with a low movement rate combined with Leap/Climb, to make it slow but relentless. The figure should stay true to the classic cinematic depiction of these monsters: a corpse with pale blueish-grey skin and long claw-like fingernails, dressed in black Manchurian-era burial robes, advancing with arms outstretched.
