9. KAPPA Faerie, Beast
A dangerous water goblin from Japanese mythology. This monster is described as being a short, shaggy humanoid with a turtle-like shell on its back, and a concave area on the top of its head that holds the water from which it draws power. Fierce in combat, they become very weak if the water spills. In game terms this would be represented by having strong starting statistics that quickly power down as it takes damage; this can be reversed by replenishing the water.
