16. NATURE SPIRIT Faerie, Elemental
Belief in nature spirits is widespread throughout many cultures in Asia, so much so that these magical beings have made the leap from ancient folklore to modern supernatural cinema. They most often appear as beautiful women, and that is what this figure would depict: a woman dressed in a gossamer gown (possibly cast in green translucent plastic), with flowers in her long black hair, which is merging with foliage at her feet. Unpredictable as nature its self, these monsters have two aspects- on one side of their card, they have defensive powers, and they Rescue victims; on the other side of the card, they have offensive powers, and they kill victims. The player can choose to flip the card at the start of their turn.
